I’m Gary Bigwood and The TT Store is my business.

I’m a graphic designer by profession and since 1997 I’ve run a catalogue design business (A4CS Limited) creating catalogues and other printed materials for mail order businesses. (Some big name mail order businesses, actually, but that’s not strictly relevant here!). Before setting up A4CS I worked as a designer in agencies.

So, there you are, iconic machines, design, print and mail order are all in my blood!

And now here’s The TT Store – offering you great clothing at a great price, featuring skilfully printed images of your favourite machines. 

The garments are made by Fruit of the Loom. Most are 100% cotton; all are fantastic quality. The images have been created by me and my team of talented illustrators – in the style of the heyday of the machine in question. Many designs pay homage to advertising style and launch material of the era. And then they’ve been skilfully silk screen printed.

I've been asked why The TT Store name, most think its tourist trophy however I've been a member at Brooklands Museum on and off for years and the influence was 'Thomson & Taylor' who were a motor-racing and engineering company based at Brooklands, they developed and prepared many land speed record cars between the two world wars. Sir Malcolm Campbell's 1931 and 1933 Blue Bird being just two. They could easily be described as the 'McLaren' of their day.
