The 'Beanie': a head-hugging brimless hat favoured by US seamen, welders and blue collar workers in the 1940s. In the 1950s it soon found favour with students on both sides of the pond – and is ever popular 75 years on. Our modern 1-piece  incarnation is part of our ever expanding range that'll complement your classic. The Beanie name derives from sections of fabric being held together by a felt covered bean/button in the centre when first introduced. Our Beanie is a modern one piece construction with a breathable Thinsulate inner.
